About Us

Meet Our Staff:

CARISSA DALE, DVM

Dr.  Carissa Dale grew up in the small town of Joshua, TX, near Fort Worth. She attended undergraduate and graduate school at Stephen F. Austin State University and veterinary school at Texas A&M University. Dr. Dale loves East Texas and always knew she would come back after finishing vet school.
Dr. Dale enjoys baking, being outdoors and spending time with her family, particularly her nephew and nieces. She currently has 3 dogs (Sheldon- 6 year old Labrador/Golden Retriever mix, Gus- 6 year old Golden Retriever and Gatsby-  1 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) and 1 cat (Alvin- a 3 year old DSH). Odds are if she is at the clinic so are her dogs, and they would love to meet you!

JESSICA

Hi! I’m Jessica, and I am new to veterinary medicine.

I joined Town and Country in October 2021. I call this place my second family. I have a deep and growing love for all things with fur! In my short time in the field, I have completed my CVA 1, and I can’t wait to continue my education here. I am passionate about monitoring anesthesia and being there to wake up each patient. I’ve been married to the love of my life for seventeen years. Together we share five great kids who are now adults. I have two Brussels Griffons, Maggie and Miles, and a girl cat named George! I love football: Dallas Cowboys and the LSU tigers. My husband and I love to travel anytime we can!

PEGGY

Hi! I’m Peggy, and I have worked in the veterinary field for thirty-three years. The first thirty-two were with Dr. Irwin. I was not ready to retire, so I stayed when he sold the clinic. The staff I work with are fantastic. I have two big babies, Tori, a German shepherd, and Rudi, a German shepherd. Also, I have two Quarter horses named Trouble and Lucky. I love working with animals and hope to continue.

KOLBY

Hi, my name is Kolby. I’ve been in the veterinary field since 2020, and I have my CVA level 1 certification and working on my 2nd. My favorite aspects of my job are running lab work, setting up tests, and performing surgical prep. I married my high school sweetheart this year, and we have three awesome pets Rosie, the ten-year-old couch potato. Banjo, the hyper one, and Froakie, the food fiend. My favorite hobbies are fishing, cooking, and doing food tours when I go to bigger cities.

DINA

I have worked here at Town N Country Animal Hospital as a receptionist/office clerk for over fifteen years. I love helping our long-time clients and their pets and meeting and getting to know our new ones. I’ve been married to my husband David for seventeen years. Together we have six children and seventeen grandchildren. Also included in our family are two fur babies. Our sweetheart, Rosie, is a twelve-year-old Australian Shepherd, and Kenzie is a three-year-old spunky little Cairn Terrier. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, camping, and going to the movies.

KIAYA

I am a vet assistant at Town n Country Animal Hospital. I’ve always loved animals and working for Town N Country Animal Hospital. I own one amazing dog named Sassy Lynn. She is a Lab mix, which is why I fell more in love with animals and wanted to work with them. I rescued Sassy from the side of the road; she has been my best friend since that day. From that day, I’ve always had a place in my heart where I wanted to help animals get better and seek a happy life, and I have found that passion here at Town N Country Animal Hospital.
